♥; Another Slot
I just came back from a glorious vacation with my superb friends. Shopping, dancing, beach, swimming, laughters, all simply too wonderful!
I may slot in some pictures next time as I'm too darn lazy to even transfer the photos to my lappie. lol

Birthday coming soon, another year older, but wiser?  Yes and No.
Such an unpredictable person I can be.
Sometimes, being in a relationship brings out the worst in me.
On the other hand, there are so so much that I have learnt these past few years of heading towards adulthood.
Life is so amazing sometimes and although it is far far more difficult to do than to preach, I aim to be a wonderful, happy human being that is aware of and appreciates the presence of Now.
Actually, the mere concept of the Presence of Now is hard to grasp -.-'''

It's quite apparent that I am half-asleep with both legs up on the chair typing nonsense dragging my bedtime isn't it?

I hope this year's birthday will be a wonderful one. Having koibito and close ones around makes me happy. I hope i have a wonderful day with them!
I've come up with a  wishlist for this half of the year. Always glad when i happen to materialize the items, unless, it's something really stupid or unnecessary and when I look back at the list I'm so glad i didn't buy it wtf

My wishlist slash shopping list.

1) Ceramic hair straightener that has rounded edges to enable curling too.

2) Canon G11 or S90.

3) More waist skirts and dresses!

4) Geo Nudy Brown in 225'( I just bought EOS Adult lenses in brown out of desperation and NO there is minimal to ZERO enlargement zzzz)

4) Floral hair clips ( I lost the one that koibito bought from Taiwan, and actually went all the way back to campus to look for it in the evening)

6) Skinfood rice concealer tip in #21 ( Omg this is GOOD, way better than my bobbi brown and beautymaker)

7) A new toner. (Almost done with my  Cyberwhite EX, it's not bad, but not phenomenal. I like TBS' Seaweed Clarifying toner, it does as it says, clarifies and totally refreshes your skin, but no whitening properties hohum)

8) (Dusty) Pink Le Pliage in Large (This may be unnecessary as i have started to love my medium ruby red grip and my green recycle bag is doing quite a fair job in holding my books. BUT I LOVE THE COLOUR)

9) A new dresser, wardrobe, BOOKSHELF, writing desk Sorry out of topic

♥; Colour choices

Colours and lighting are such important factors in a home, besides detailing of course.
These days I've been busy running about looking for light fixtures and furniture for my new home.
I've always wanted a modern home but I admit, I didn't contribute to any of the interior ideas till its too late and I REGRET IT!
I would like a home that looks like this

My uncle's area looks like the one above. The lighting i mean. So modern and chic!
Whereas for dad, he chose cornices (even for light fixtures) put all around the house FML!!
Now that i'm (finally) taking charge, I have to go about places to check out lighting that balances out the outmoded design. It can't be too contemporary nor too simple nor too complex. I wouldn't want to have hanging pieces like chandeliers but other designs wouldn't necessary suit the (very) high ceiling.
So overall I'd have to figure out how to get two ceiling lights that complements a fan Together with the hideous cornices.

I painted my room a shade of Apple White. The name tells it all, a muted light creamy green. Koibito's room has the exact shade and I've always thought it was white before he told me. Lol. Since my room isn't too big, I didn't dare take the risk to paint two complementary or contrasting colours. I chose the colours for my grandmother's room though. I can't really remember the exact names of the shades but it's a light smokey beige and a creamy barley. So dainty hehe.

The problem with colours is that they look different in different lightings. Like my room, it's perfectly fine if you weren't anal about colours like me. But personally, I would think with the windows closed (and we haven't even put curtains yet), there might be too much of a green tinge then I would like.

My perfect room and house actually, would be one complimented with Neutrals. Fyi, No extra tinge of yellow nor red, neither warm nor cold, just like me. haha. Pastels are great, muted greys are LOVE. And how can i not mention White.

Neutrals, with the correct lighting, imho, gives an illusion of space too. Which is the exact problem i'm facing for my own room. Should i just paint all fours white, and if so, which shade of white, or should i have some complementary colours (like all the other rooms in my house), I'm NOT a risk taker T T

I want my room to be cheery and bright without being overwhelmingly romantic nor kiddy. Omg what am i rambling about. Going crazy ~~ ta.

Different shades of white, so how do you pick one?

♥; Water sleeping pack ex
Laneige is having their annual sales and i took the chance to get my hands on the Water Sleeping Pack EX. I loveddd the previous Water Sleeping Pack Plus. I know i love it for all the wrong reasons but it gave my face such a nice glow (which some people may dub too sticky or has too much of a sheen etc etc).
Anyway, i was in a rush so I only had the time to pop in,test, grab and go but to my dismay,

THERE WAS NO SHEEEEEEEEEEN!!!

The formula was totally absorbed into my skin and left no trace of a sheen/ glowy residual finish whatsoever!
Bummers!!! Nevertheless, i still went on and bought it. $43.90 -----> $35.12 for a highly raved product, doesn't seem like a bad deal at all!

I will test it out later and see how it goes.Hope the moisturization part still works :X Fingers crossed crossed crossed.

Update: I used a rather generous amount of the product, there was a glow, but very minimal. Furthermore, the product claims that the aromatic scent (Sleepscent), containing orange flower, rose, ylang ylang, sandalwood helps relax our mind for a good sleep. Well, to me, the aroma (if any) was bland and minimal. Nothing compared to the old pack. I forgot how it smelled like, kind of crisp but soothing. AWW i miss the old one :(

This is like how i miss the old Wash-Up Gelly foam  (haha yes that's how they spelt "jelly") too (blue bottle). It has a gel texture and cleans my face thoroughly without giving me that taut feeling PLUS it had this wonderful crispy citrus scent. MMmmm.
And as usual lLaneige likes to upgrade their products and they discarded this particular one and the only option closest to it is the Laneige Sensitive Gel cleanser (green bottle). I bought this for koibito and myself, but not really loving it. As it is meant for sensitive skin, foaming and traces of scent are minimal. It also doesn't provide me with that "clean" feeling like the Gelly foam does. A good basic cleanser otherwise.

Well, at  least both the new sleeping pack and the sensitive gel cleanser have fabulous packaging. haha
